Bonnie Rotten Named Trophy Girl for 2013 AVN Awards

Wins Inked Angels Starlet of the Year; Gram Ponante Interview & ‘Meet Bonnie’ Review

VENICE, CA – Busty Bonnie Rotten has burst onto the scene like few before her and she can add the honor of being the first to be named trophy girl for the 2013 AVN Awards. Traditionally the show has two newcomers acting as trophy girls, though no other has been announced. She was also the AVN.com Pornstar of the Day Friday and all through the weekend.

“I am so excited for the opportunity to be a trophy girl at the AVN Awards,” Bonnie told AVN late last week. “I can’t thank you all enough for giving me the chance to be a shining star.”

She also had plenty to say to voice of the industry Gram Ponante, who both reviewed Meet Bonnie (Digital Sin) and interviewed the starlet for his Porn Valley Observed site in recent days.

“It’s hard to figure out what makes a porn star,” Mr. Ponante writes. “Rotten could easily fall to the bottom of the Altporn pile if she weren’t so charming and self-assured, or be shunted off to fetish work if she didn’t take such obvious pleasure in what she does. Whatever it is, you’re rooting for her.”

In his interview with the 19-year-old starlet he says, “The thing about growing older is you notice the younger people who have the savvy, sass, and sobriety to make the world interesting after your dead.” Bonnie, he says, is one of those people.

Last week she was named winner of the fan-chosen 2012 Inked Angels Starlet of the Year award. For a girl who has been in so few movies you can count them on one hand, she has almost as money trophies as movies.
