DAVID LORD HOLDING ‘HOME IMPROVEMENT’ PARODY CASTING CALL

Acclaimed Director Shooting Adam & Eve Parody Next

RESEDA, CA – Back in February acclaimed director David Lord announced his intentions to make several parodies for both Adam&Eve and his own company, Rebel Studios. So far he’s completed an extraordinary take on ‘The A Team’ that rivals Stephen J. Cannell’s original vision, just in time for summer movie release from 20th Century Fox.

With the final touches being put on the epic 80’s parody David Lord is ready to go into production on his next homage, this time to the long running television sitcom ‘Home Improvement’ – a childhood favorite of the auteur.

“I’ve always loved the show,” explains Lord. “Tim Allen has impeccable comic timing. I’ve tried to capture the essence of the show and really bring fans the best of what they fell in love with, just like I would want to see.”

The script was written by DCypher, who also helped Lord create scripts for the A Team parody and the Tiger Woods parody he did late last year. It features Adam & Eve contract star Alexis Ford as the beloved Tool Helper Girl, a coveted role. The rest of the roles, including Tim, Al, Jill, and wise neighbor Wilson, are waiting to be filled by just the right performers. That’s why David Lord has decided to hold an open casting call.

“We had a really nice turn out with the A Team casting and it definitely helped me flesh out the characters,” offers Lord.

“It’s a great way to meet new talent and see performers who I have shot over the years showcase their acting abilities. I remember last time we did this I was shocked that guys who I thought of as gonzo performers came through with genuine acting chops. You just never know.”

VENICE, CA – Paul Chaplin opened the doors of his Bluebird Mansion to celebrate wrapping one of the biggest films of the year. And the A list of adult industry talent came to party through the night. The theme was 1930’s costume, but this certainly wasn’t the depression; Gangsters and Molls filled the halls, as a jazz band played from the gallery. The 30’s was a no frills era, which many of the starlets proved by skinny dipping in the pool to the big disco sounds spinning on the patio.

Paul Chaplin and Nick Steele – dressed in Bluebird pink pinstripe suits – welcomed the star line up, including: Bluebird contract star MADELYN MARIE, DYLAN RYDER, DANI JENSEN, KRISSY LYNN, SUNNY LANE, KAYDEN KROSS, DYANNA LAUREN, DANA DEARMOND, NICK MANNING, WILL RYDER and TOM BYRON.


Between the ice statues, gourmet food and Havana cigar maker, was the centerpiece: The first screening of the BONNY & CLIDE trailer. Playing all night, it drew gasps from everyone who saw it. EVAN STONE, currently shooting BABERUNNER for Bluebird said, “You look at this, and it’s mainstream. The cinematography, the acting, the costumes, the styling. It’s taking adult movies to the next level.”

But only as far as poolside, where Nick Steele revealed that they’re professional bounty hunters, coming to audition for a Bluebird TV Show!

A very relieved PC decided to celebrate his escape from the long arm of the law, by a skinny dip with Madelyn, followed by a mermaid diving competition off the waterfall.

Interviewed by TV, PC answered as to the most important quality of a Bluebird girl: “Endurance!”

Veteran Ron Jeremy summed up the shock and awe of the occasion, “Man, this party musta cost what must people would make five whole movies for”.

RISING STAR PR CLIENTS WIN BIG AT XRCO

The company’s first-ever client, Lisa Ann, hosted the even and also went home with the MILF of the Year trophy. Dane Cross and Kagney Linn Karter both completed triple crowns by winning new performer awards at the AVN, XBIZ and now XRCO Awards. This time through Dane won New Stud, while Kagney, now a contract performer for Zero Tolerance, was named New Starlet.

“These are goals for every serious performer,” Rising Star PR founder Devan Cypher said. “A lot goes into a performer winning awards like these and publicity is just a part of the package. Obviously it’s essential to work with people who have potential and we’ve done that.”

With the assistance of weapons experts and a special effects team, director Nicholas Steele created a frighteningly realistic reconstruction of the couple’s ambush by a posse of officers, right down to the shredded, bloody clothing.

Tommy Gunn who plays the former Texas Ranger who hunts the outlaws down, admitted to getting hard during the handling and firing of the powerful weapons. “How great is my job?” he rhapsodized. “I get to shoot guns and have sex with beautiful women. What could be better?”
