Awards, New Releases, Appearances, and More!
VENICE, CA – 2013 has just begun but already Bonnie Rotten has put more under her belt than some girls will accomplish all year! After being prominently displayed as one of the delicious trophy girls at the 30th AVN Awards in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock the precocious starlet was featured on Forbes.com. That week her much discussed Gang Bang was also released from New Sensations and Eddie Powell. She also won the honor of Favorite Newbie in the 2012 RogReviews Awards. Then Bonnie Rotten was announced as the star in tentatively-titled It’s a Hard World, an original scripted zombie movie written and directed by Tommy Pistol. Rotten, a avid horror movie fan, was delighted to be in the Smash Pictures release.
“This is so appropriate for me as an avid horror fan,” she told XBIZ. “Knowing that Tommy is also a horror fan makes this project so special because we are harnessing old school horror and molding it into something delightfully dirty. When Tommy called me I was so stoked – Bonnie Rotten is a zombie after all. My pin-up zombie alter ego is tattooed on the back of my right thigh. What a cool project to by my first feature film. This is going to be amazing.”
She then spent the weekend returning to Ohio in a homecoming unlike anything the city has ever seen. First she signed for Quik Video in Fairfield, then at the Hustler Store in Monroe. That night she performed at to the first club where she made her debut, Harem’s Gentleman’s Club, from 10 pm to 2 am, signing autographs and chatting it up with fans.
But that wasn’t enough for this busy little bee. So Bonnie also showed up to represent for LA Choppers at the V-Twin Expo by Easyriders at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati the very next day.
“It was an amazing trip,” Bonnie confides. “I saw many people, old friends and new fans, and they were all super supportive. It feels awesome to be doing so well in my career at this point. I am truly blessed!”
This week Bonnie is shooting back to back. She’s also now been nominated as Best New Starlet for Rog Reviews Critics Choice Awards.
So what does the future hold for this bright young rising star? More of everything of course!
