VAN NUYS, Calif.—The 1990s was a different time for porn stars than today. A time of real stars, a time of fewer performers, fewer titles and much bigger name recognition. In 1994 a girl from Pennsylvania named Lisa Ann entered the scene. Almost immediately she was signed to an exclusive contract with porno powerhouse Metro. She worked little and not at all unless she was guaranteed the box cover. She developed a reputation as one of porn’s feistiest felines, always fighting to get what she felt she deserved. When her contract expired two years later, she decided not to renew. She shot a few titles for friends and, owning one of the biggest names in the adult business, she hit the road for the feature dancing circuit, never to be seen on film again. Until now
