VENICE, CA – The reviews from the new feature starring Remy LaCroix, The Temptation of Eve from New Sensations, which was directed by one of the hottest new directors in adult, Jacky St. James, are coming in and the critics are going wild. We can’t wait to see this on watch my gf xxx.

XCritic is among of the first to speak up, giving the movie a Highly Recommended review from Don Houston.

“The Temptation of Eve by director Jacky St. James for New Sensations was more than just a well-polished feature in the erotica genre, it was a class act that I suspect many of the competition will find tough to beat later this year,” Houston writes. “Remy LaCroix was great in her role as Eve and her co-workers like Tommy Pistol, Xander Corvus, Bailey Blue, and India Summer all knocked this one out of the park in most ways. … Coming from a gonzo-loving raincoater like myself, that is about as big a compliment as you will find without strings attached, so I rated this one as at least worthy of a Highly Recommended for a general audience, certainly more if you have enjoyed erotica features in series such as the New Sensations’ Erotic Stories series.”

At Adult DVD Talk, bono-ONE is the first to jump in with a review, and it’s a great start.

“This was another great story from Jacky St. James with some incredible acting from Remy who should receive a nomination,” writes bono-ONE. “I’ve seen Remy do some great features now and we can only hope Jacky will come up with another juicy story for this fine actress to get her hooks into. … If you enjoyed Remy in Torn, this movie is right up there in terms of powerful performances given by this actress. The story was there, too, from Jacky, I’d say these two women make a great team!”

Fleshbot has also checked in with some kind words of their own in a review titles “Remy LaCroix Is A Sweet Snake Charmer In The Temptation Of Eve”: “Is this a really cool story? Yes. (Jacky St. James, excellent as always!) Is the acting good? Top notch. Have our moral compasses been thrown off just from watching the trailer? Most definitely. But it’s still a porno, you guys. There’s gonna be great sex. Remy has to hula-hoop.”

VENICE, CA – When Conner Habib went looking for an articulate female voice in the adult industry to talk about the new Linda Lovelace movie (Lovelace, which released Aug. 8), he needed look no further than Sovereign Syre.

The subject of an in-depth Playboy interview earlier this summer, Sovereign has made the best of her little-more-than-two-years in the adult industry. The Slate story, “Linda Lovelace Is Not a Porn Star,” focuses on the long, dark shadow Lovelace—made famous for her lead role in Deep Throat—casts over the industry. Specifically, her allegations that she was not a willing participant in the legendary film.

“Her narrative is so far removed from what is currently the typical porn star’s experience in this country that using that title to describe her isn’t just meaningless but, worse, contributes to dangerous misunderstandings about porn performers today,” writes Habib.

“More representative than Lovelace are contemporary and prolific performers like Sovereign Syre,” he continues. “’Every step of the way was a conscious transition,’ she told me. Her ‘erotic journey’ began when, after leaving grad school to write a novel, she started appearing on an online modeling site and progressed to porn slowly and thoughtfully from there.”

“It’s one of the few jobs where women are empowered to be financially and emotionally independent and that terrifies people,” Sovereign says in the article.

On the shooting front, Sovereign and Aaliyah Love shot a scene this week that’s headed to the latter’s site and will be released as a DVD showcase later this year.

“Aaliyah is someone I really enjoy working with, her bubbly personality and strong work ethic have quickly earned her a spot on the A-list in porn,” Sovereign says. “She’s the girl everyone is watching, and I was very flattered she asked me to be a part of her special project.”
