Bikini Outlaws Nominated For Upcoming XBIZ Awards
VENICE, CA – Up and coming porn director Barrett Blade was up for several major awards for his work at this years annual AVN Awards, including Director of the Year. But it was his most cherished series, Show No Mercy from Wicked Pictures, that took home the honor of Best Vignette Release. Based on his numerous trips to Japan for work and pleasure, Barrett created a visionary new series that brings to life the authentic experience of Cosplay in the ultimate adventure. Everything from the sets to the custom sewn costumes was one of a kind in this painstaking labor of love.

Blade also presented at the AVN Awards last week and was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame alongside his best friend Eric Masterson. This week he’s got his fingers crossed that another win is in the cards for him. Bikini Outlaws, a glossy big budget featured he dreamed up for Wicked Pictures last year, is nominated for the Couples-Themed Release of the Year at the XBIZ Awards. Hosted by the legendary Jenna Jameson, the festivities kick off this Friday the 24th in Century City and will attract the industry’s biggest stars.
Barrett was also recently featured in the Daily Beast online, under retired porn performer Aurora Snow’s column, where he talked about his wildest moment in adult of last year as well as his hopes for the industry this year.
