New Scene From Girlfriends Films This Week: Lesbian Farewells
VENICE, CA – It is not every girl/girl-only performer who gets her own series – in fact, there may be only one in history, and that’s Sovereign Syre.
Sovereign has only been in the industry for two years, but she has earned a respect from industry contemporaries that is usually reserved for people who have put in many more years than she. Her unique sensuality, her sizzling and authentic scenes, the combination of joy and intellect she brings to the table is a unique package in any industry.
Many if not all of those things led to her getting the lead in the Lesbian Guidance Counselor series, the third volume of which came out on Thursday.
“Nica Noelle saw something in me early on and I’ve always been vocal in how instrumental she was in helping me launch a career that has been full of interesting roles and opportunities,” Sovereign says. “Having my own series was a unique honor as a girl/girl-only performer, and I was honored to be part of the Girl Candy brand, which has come to be the gold standard amongst many girl/girl fans for what lesbian erotica is all about. I’m especially proud of this series, some of my best scenes were turned in as Sophie Hobbs, my work with Maddy O’Reilly and Chastity Lynn for the series are still some of my strongest. I really enjoyed my time playing Sophie Hobbs, who I always viewed as not just a repressed and competitive professional suffocating in the arms of temptation, but also as the girl who couldn’t seem to grow up.”
