After Being Kicked Out of the Navy for Sexual Misconduct, Beloved By Fans for Same
VENICE, CA – Diamond Foxxx has certainly earned her AdultDVDTalk interview and this week it is here: a stunning and revelatory interview from one of the industry’s greatest stars of the past 15 years.
And it has been 15 years. Diamond made her debut in 2005 and hasn’t looked back. Fortunately, she’s managed to maintain her passion and beauty, so no one is eager to see her go. Considering she’s kicking off a podcast, recently revamped her website and debuted a YouTube channel, not to mention she continues to star in amazing scenes, it seems safe to assume we’ll have her around for a few more wonderful years.
Captain Jack had the honors of conducing this first-ever interview for the site and it spans her entire life and career. From growing up in a military family (mom was a marine, dad in the navy) and moving constantly, they finally settled in Virginia where she stayed until she and her husband moved to Florida when she got into the adult industry.
Like her parents, Diamond also went into the military. Though unsaid, it’s easy to assume they didn’t exit the same way she did.
“I joined the navy and then I did some running around,” Diamond said. “When I was in the navy, there was no holds barred for that kind of stuff. I actually got kicked out of the navy for sexual misconduct. Little did I know, if you’re single, you cannot have sex. It’s in the Department of Justice’s handbook.”
Nonetheless, she says wasn’t a particularly sexual person before porn, a job choice she says probably saved her marriage. She was just hoping to do porn for a couple weeks, walk with enough to put down on a house, and never look back. Not surprisingly, her first scene (for Naughty America’s Live Naughty Teacher) was a little nerve-wracking.
“I was a nervous wreck. I remember coming off the train in San Diego and just being mortified,” she said. “I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I didn’t know what to expect, I was just a nervous wreck. I was all by myself. They told me to bring teacher clothes…I don’t know, that a nun would wear. They said, ‘No! That’s not what we meant!’ We all laughed about it and it made for a great scene. It’s one of my fans’ favorite scenes ever, as much as it mortifies me.”
She was also in Seth Gamble’s first scene (“Chow Dong” for Bang Bros), which she thought was bound to be a dud. Nope, it’s one of her – and her fans’ – favorites.
“It was Seth’s first scene and I really thought the scene was going to bust,” Diamond said when the Captain asked about scenes every fan should see. “He was new and wasn’t used to the porn positions like I was used to, but it turned out to be a humongous favorite of all the fans. I get emails about it constantly. That one for sure. And I would say a ‘Birthday Gangbang’ for Brazzers. And Fly Girls, which was a Digital Playground video.”
