Mainstream Always Interested in What Really Happens on Set

VENICE, CA – A new Glamour magazine article called ‘8 Surprising Secrets That Go Into Making Porn” relies heavily on the insight of performer/director Layla Sin and she gives mainstream readers some very interesting scoops.

The parts of the interview with Layla cover how woman shooting porn deal with their periods, how some make fake cum for photo stills and of course timing, timing, timing.

“According to Sin, scripts get super specific, laying out exactly when each action happens,” Suzannah Weiss writes. “For example, they might say something like, ‘you’re going to do a strip tease, and then two minutes into the scene, you’re going to take your top off, then after a minute, you’re going to take your bottom off, then after three minutes, you’re going to start masturbating.’ Sometimes, even the orgasms are timed, she said. She tries to create a setting where her performers will have real ones, but sometimes, she admits, ‘You have to fake it. You cannot come, like, 18 times.’”

Not to worry, the Penthouse Pet of the Year didn’t reveal anything too secret, so there’s still a little mystery left for the final product.

“For those of us in the industry a lot of these things are commonplace and we don’t think much of them after a while, but to outsiders porn is wild and different,” Layla said. “I enjoy the opportunity to speak to an audience that is fascinated with what I do and really enjoyed speaking with Suzannah for Glamour.”
