VENICE, CA – The cover story of the new AVN magazine is about the “30 Game Changers” in the adult industry and Dana Vespoli is right there in the middle of it.

Citing her as one of the most exciting directors in the industry, as well as one of the very short list of women to ever get a deal with Evil Angel, AVN says they were right about her when they first introduced her in a Fresh Off The Bus feature in 2004.

“She told us with staunch resolution that she eventually wanted to direct,” they write, “and we vividly remember thinking this was a woman who, unlike the hordes of other eager beaver starlets who’ve uttered the same, we were not only sure would see the goal to fruition, but would be really good at it.

“She’s released about half a dozen titles through EA under her nascent DV Productions banner, and they’ve been received smashingly, with three of them having already garnered AVN Editor’s Choice reviews (including She’s Come Undone, reviewed in this very issue). Seems our instincts were right about this one.”

In the new September issue, AVN positively gushes over her work in She’s Come Undone, saying, “Vespoli’s career and life are in a tailspin in the story, but the sex is fucking hot as hell. … Vespoli’s features are truly amazing and worthy of all the shelf space you can give them.”

This is the latest of many fantastic reviews of Dana’s movies and she is clearly one of the industry’s top directors today. In October, Evil Angel will release two more much-anticipated Dana movies, Girl/Boy and Dana Vespoli’s Back in Black, both release in October.
