‘Mick Loves Anikka’ Wins Gonzo Release of the Year at 2017 XBIZ Awards

VENICE, CA – Anikka Albrite, along with her husband Mick Blue and their production company BAM Visions, kicked off awards season with some big wins at the 2017 XBIZ Awards last week.

At the ceremony held at the Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles last week the Gonzo Release of the Year trophy went to Mick Loves Anikka (BAM Visions/Evil Angel). The movie was a celebration of the couple’s love and was the first release they ever directed together. It also marked the 20th movie released by BAM Visions and was a four-and-a-half-hour movie a year in the making.

“We’ve been blessed to have so much success in this industry and we’re always looking for ways to produce the best product for our fans and for ourselves, too,” Anikka said when it was released over the summer. “In Mick Loves Anikka we not only got to fulfill some of our fantasies, but we got to create the most amazing scenes we have ever done in the process.”

Mick Blue Being Inducted Into AVN Hall of Fame This Week

‘Mick Loves Anikka’ Wins Gonzo Release of the Year at 2017 XBIZ Awards

VENICE, CA – Mick Blue is making his annual trek to Las Vegas this week for the Adult Entertainment Expo and it, along with the 2017 AVN Awards, promises to be another memorable trip for him. “That movie took us a year to put together,” Mick said. “It was very special for both of us and we were thrilled that so many people were able to enjoy it. I don’t think either of us have ever worked on a project that was more important to us personally, so it was a true labor of love.”

Mick and Anikka also won Best Sex Scene – Feature Release for their work with Sara Luvv in Babysitting the Baumgartners. The movie was Adam & Eve’s biggest production of 2016, based on the book by Selena Kitt and directed by Kay Brandt.
