Male Performer of the Year Mick Blue Stars in Mainstream Movie

Three Scenes in New (Cindy) ‘Starfall’ from Jonni Darkko

VENICE, CA – Even before winning Male Performer of the Year at the AVN Awards last month the mainstream had come knocking on Mick Blue’s door.

Mick and his wife Anikka (aka the XBIZ and AVN Female Performer of the Year) co-starred in an Austrian production titled Chimney or Pit.

The movie was directed by Fritz Treiber, whose debut was recently released in cinemas in Austria. The story is about a famous DJ (Mick) and a reaper (Anikka), who comes to take him away from this life. It’s a love story between the real-life couple with Mick trying to find a way to stay alive – with or without Anikka.

“It was a difficult shoot, with everything being filmed at night,” Mick said. “We had a lot of fun doing it. I love being able to work with Anikka and it was interesting to be able to do a different kind of project. I think it’s going to be a great movie.”

Chimney or Pit was shot in December in Graz, Austria. The trailer should be up by summer and the release by the end of the year.

Mick and Anikka make up the historic, first-ever, real-life married couple to win AVN Performer of the Year trophies, both accepting the awards at the ceremony last month. Mick also won four other awards, including the coveted Most Outrageous Sex Scene.

He stars in Jonni Darkko’s latest movie, Starfall, appearing in three scenes. Historic: Wife Anikka Albrite Also Wins Female Performer of the Year

VENICE, CA – Mick Blue was part of a historic win over the weekend when he won Male Performer of the Year at the 2015 AVN Awards, followed just moments later by the announcement that his wife, Anikka Albrite, had won Female Performer of the Year. Mick is also the first Austrian to ever win the award.

This marks the first time ever that a husband and wife have been awarded Performer of the Year honors, let alone in the same year. Mick also won four other awards, including the coveted Most Outrageous Sex Scene.
