VENICE, CA – Dana Vespoli’s amazing 2013 continues to roll on amidst great reviews, an incredible stack of hits, several award nominations and some hot scenes starring the performer/director herself.

‘Lesbians in Charge’ Now in the Can; Next Up: Lex and Diesel

VENICE, CA – It’s a big week – in more ways that one – for Dana Vespoli, and things are going to stay that way for a while.

VENICE, CA – The awards nominations for Dana Vespoli keep rolling in, this week from the NightMoves Awards.

For the 2013 NightMoves Awards Dana is nominated for Best Director (Non Parody), Best All Girl Release for Allie Haze Loves Girls (Sweetheart Video) and Best Ink.

Sex Awards Nominations Include Favorite Director, Porn Star of the Year

VENICE, CA – Next up for the prolific director Dana Vespoli is an edgy, four-scene vignette, Fluid.

The movie stars Allie Haze, Sheena Shaw, Justine Joli, Aiden Starr, Steven St. Croix, Manuel Ferrara, Johnny Castle and Dana. In this movie she “explores sexual relationships to fluid through waterboarding, saliva play, and sex in water,” says the critic and fan favorite.

The reviews are just beginning to come in, but Don Houston wrote a Recommended review for XCritic that says Fluid “showed the director willing to try new things in giving her audience ample choices of material to select from, the gal apparently not content with just shooting generic porn to liven things up.”

Dana recently finished shooting Lesbian Anal POV 3, which has been shot mostly in public – “We try not to get caught,” she says – pressing forward in another fetish with the heat rising along with the danger.

Live Show This Thursday for Cherry Pimps

VENICE, CA – It seems no one is creating great new movies at a better pace than Dana Vespoli who has another great new title out, Lesbian Babysitters 9 from Sweetheart Video.

“A lot of the people who are the biggest advocates for feminist porn are so niche that they’re not relatable to the general audience,” Sovereign said. “Dana Vespoli is, though, and she’s the first to say, ‘I’m a feminist and I have a feminist vision and this stuff is feminist porn because I’m a woman and I’m making it, so the very nature is feminist because it’s what turns me on.’ … Someone once said in an interview that the thing with Dana is that women have something really interesting [to say] about sex and the problem is that we haven’t really been giving them a voice. People have started to think, ‘Oh yeah, women can say something aside from couples romance touchy shit.’”

XCritic Recommends ‘She’s Come Undone’, Gram Ponante Loves ‘Descent’

VENICE, CA – Just as the reviews for Dana Vespoli’s new movie She’s Come Undone start rolling in, she’s wrapped shooting on her next offering.

XCritic has given She’s Come Undone the official Recommendation, saying, “She’s Come Undone is a truly adult story that stands out among the lightweight traditional tropes of all-girl smut.”

Her latest release stars Dana, Sinn Sage, India Summer, Sovereign Syre, Presley Hart, Julia Ann and Lea Lexis with an appearance by Manuel Ferrara.

Deemed one of the industry’s “Fresh” directors in the current issue of AVN, Dana just finished shooting Lesbian Anal POV 3. The cast joining Dana is Skin Diamond, Jessie Volt, Bailey Blue and Anikka Albrite.

Dana knows as much about getting turned on as anyone, and beloved porn journalist Gram Ponante just gave Dana’s movie Descent a great review for Fleshbot, calling it “a great porn movie” that is “not easily forgotten.”

“Always an expressive performer with delightfully sordid guttural vocalizations, Vespoli left porn for a few years and has returned as a board-certified MILF, with MILF skills,” Ponante observes. “To wit: She manages to see a psychiatrist (Mark Davis) in just one day.”

Ponante points out that the movie actually ends not with the customary cumshot but with a story that actually resolves itself – “not that a load of come in the face hasn’t been a useful narrative denouement in the past,” he admits – but there is one than one way to end a porn movie.
