‘Confessions of a Sinful Nun’ & ‘Justice League XXX’ Also Clean Up

VENICE, CA – The AVN Awards nominations have been announced and Charlotte Stokely went away with four noms.

Charlotte is up for Mainstream Star of the Year and All-Girl Performer of the Year as well as Best Solo/Tease Performance for Confessions of a Sinful Nun and Best Supporting Actress for Justice League XXX. 

Confessions of a Sinful Nun (Sweetheart/Mile High) and Justice League XXX: An Axel Braun Parody (Axel Braun/Wicked) both did very well. Confessions received seven nominations, including Best Drama and Justice League XXX received 13, including Best Parody.

Other noteworthy nominations include Gotham Girls for Best Parody, in which Charlotte plays iconic Harley Quinn. Christmas Spirit and Faces of Alice from Girlsway, both which featured the stunning starlet, received handfuls of noms, including Best Comedy and Best All Girl Group Sex Scene. ‘Sinful Confessions of a Sinful Nun’ Showing That Religion Scores Well in Adult

The cast members in each scene exhibit great sexual energy and certainly appear to have excellent sexual chemistry together. The cast does a great job with their non-sexual material as well. This reviewer loved seeing the legendary Nina Hartley in the role of the mother superior.

VENICE, CA – Charlotte Stokely stars in one of the biggest, hottest and controversial movies of the year with the release of Sweetheart Video’s Confessions of a Sinful Nun.

Charlotte plays the appropriately-devout Sister Charlotte and all goes is pious as usual until Sister Lily (Lily Adams) shows up at the convent. Charlotte, who has spent a lifetime loving God and avoiding sin soon finds herself in a bad situation: temptation.

While temptation may not break any of the Ten Commandments, a woman lusting after another woman does feel like bumping into the ground covered by coveting, dishonesty and adultery. If some Bible passages are to be taken as the word of God, there might be a little problem with blasphemy, too. Not to mention how it must push the bounds of maintaining one’s virginity. What’s a woman to do? She may be married to God, but she’s human. She has needs, feelings, desires.

And what will Mother Superior (Nina Hartley) say or do if she finds out?

“This is a very exciting role for me to play,” Charlotte said. “It’s so fun and dirty and really pushes the limits, even for adult content. You just don’t see that much religion-oriented material out there. I know there will be some unhappy with it, but I think they did a great job of making the movie emotionally real while sexually hot and explicit. I think a lot of people are going to enjoy this movie.”

The movie also features Lea Lexis, Mona Wales, Darcie Dolce and Riley Nixon.

Confessions of a Sinful Nun was directed by Ricky Greenwood, his first adult movie after studying film and working in production for a couple years.

“I’m a huge fan of the genre – the nunsploitation film,” Greenwood told AVN.com. “I think people will love it. When you see a porno with nuns, it’s dirty nuns and latex suits and stuff like that. I don’t want to do that.” The cast, he said, looks “like real nuns. They act super natural. Most of them do not have tattoos or you can’t see them.”

He also said Charlotte was an easy selection for the lead.

“I know she is a good actress. She does other things outside of porn. She surprised me a lot.”

Charlotte works with Penny, Riley and Lily. She also has a solo scene.
