Rising Star PR Announces 2012 Anniversary Contest

Kagney Linn Karter and Brooklyn Lee Will Help Select Newbie for Free Publicity Contract

VENICE – In honor of their third anniversary, Rising Star PR is holding a contest for a new performer to get a taste of complimentary PR services from the company. Kagney Linn Karter and Brooklyn Lee, who each won AVN’s Best New Starlet trophy while utilizing the services of Rising Star, will help select the winner.

“I’m excited to be part of the Next Rising Star 2012 contest,” says Brooklyn Lee. “It’s important to have the support of a good PR team if you’re going to make it to the top! Rising Star PR is a great place to start.”

The contest is open to performers who have been in the business less than a year and who are not currently signed up for publicity with other companies. To enter they only need to email [email protected]. Brooklyn and Kagney will help whittle the field down to five finalists, and then it will be opened up to public vote.

The winner will receive a free month of full services from Rising Star PR, including press releases and media direction and assistance. The deadline to enter is April 29, with the final five to be announced May 1. The contest will then end two weeks later on May 14, 2012, with the winner announced the following day – and starting their first run of PR. The runner up contestants will also be offered PR services at a reduced rate.

“Devan and Acme were polite and really seemed to know what they were talking about when we first met,” Kagney recalls. “They put out press releases on what I was doing, set up interviews with magazines and media outlets, helped me get the cover of AVN, and walked me through an amazing award season. I can definitely recommend their services.”

Brooklyn Lee Starring in John Stagliano’s ‘Voracious’

Nominated for XRCO’s Best New Starlet Award

Brooklyn Lee Signing for Evil Angel at AEE, Covering Red Carpet for Hot Video

Superstarlet Heads Into the 2012 AVN Awards With 11 nominations

VENICE, CA – A huge week lies ahead in the young career of Brooklyn Lee as she heads to Las Vegas for the Adult Entertainment Expo and AVN Awards. She will be signing on the show floor for four days, broadcasting from the red carpet at the awards show and inside is nominated for 11 trophies, including two fan awards.

Last week she was a red carpet correspondent for Hot Video at the 2012 XBIZ Awards and will be doing the same at the AVN Awards.

“It is an immense honor to have been selected to cover star-studded carpets during this awards season,” Brooklyn said. “I had a fantastic time chatting with nominees and industry execs at XBIZ, and I can’t wait to do it all again at AVN.”

Brooklyn has a full signing schedule at the Evil Angel booth, which will allow her fans access to autographs and photo opportunities. She will also be on hand for the unveiling of John Stagliano’s Voracious project on Thursday, January 19, at 1 pm at the Evil booth.

“I am beyond ecstatic to be a part of the Evil Angel family this year at the 2012 AEE Expo,” she said. “To appear alongside a group of industry superstars and pioneers is truly a dream come true.”
