BSkow Brings Carter Cruise to Tears During Auditions

Hypnotized Best New Starlet Sheds Tears Before Unforgettable Scene

VENICE, CA – Last week gorgeous young Carter Cruise took home Best New Starlet along with several other equally impressive trophies including Best Actress at both the at the XBIZ Awards and the AVN Awards. The young ingénue displayed her impressive acting chops in director B. Skow’s version of the casting couch for his highly anticipated new release Auditions by crying on command. When hypnotized by the eccentric auteur she turns in a heart wrenching performance worthy of an Oscar, exhibiting a wide range of emotion almost effortlessly before giving a white hot hardcore performance that left fans and critics clamoring for more. The collaboration between Miss Cruise and B. Skow is so effective that the two are now in talks to do a major adult feature starring the talented star as his lead and inspiration.

“Carter let me get inside her mind and really break her down,” Skow explains. “She doesn’t hold back with me at all and she’s not afraid to fully express herself. Together we make great movies and I’m looking forward to seeing how far I can push her.”

Released on January 2nd through Skow for Girlfriends Films, Auditions also stars Lola Foxx, Vyxen Steel, and Ariana Grand in convincing casting couch scenarios that both delight and arouse viewers. The release is seeing strong sales owing in no small part to the erotic charge of power exchange, verbal dominance, and raw sexual inhibition brought out from exploring the depths of the nubile young performers dirty psyches.

“I really liked the idea of exploring the dynamic of a girl going out for a role and being asked to do something more,” Skow confides. “How will she react? She could tell the director to fuck off or she could be ready and willing to do anything to get the part. There are a lot of possibilities and I had a cast that really allowed me to take a look at some different situations and also get some amazing scenes.”

Hypnotizing performers is just one of the many quirky tricks the acclaimed director has in his arsenal that have set him apart from nearly every other director in adult entertainment, causing critics to label him a trendsetter who pushes the envelope. A true industry veteran since his early Vivid days back in 1993, B. Skow continues to take things further than the rest of the pack with his innovative and fresh approach to creating erotic art. The results are nothing short of astounding which might explain why with he’s one of the most-nominated people working in the adult business today.

B. Skow’s All-Star ‘Auditions’ Kicks Off 2015

The Casting Couch Goes Hardcore in This Amazing New Release

VENICE, CA – Not one to rest on previous successes – including his biggest year to date in 2014 – director B. Skow is jumping out of the gate with what is sure to be the first smash of 2015 with Auditions.

With a Jan. 2 release date, the movie starring Lola Foxx, Vyxen Steel, Ariana Grand and Carter Cruise in convincing casting couch scenarios will certainly create a storm. Toying with themes such as power and vulnerability and one of the movie industry’s most famous dynamics, Skow taps into various emotions while also offering some intense and straightforward hardcore scenes.

“I really liked the idea of exploring the dynamic of a girl going out for a role and being asked to do something more,” Skow said. “How will she react? She could tell the director to fuck off or she could be ready and willing to do anything to get the part. There are a lot of possibilities and I had a cast that really allowed me to take a look at some different situations and also get some amazing scenes.”

This month Skow will enter the AVN Awards with 37 nominations and 33 noms for the XBIZ Awards, making him one of the most-nominated people working in the adult business today.

Skow’s last release of 2014 was American Nannies, a hardcore movie with an all-star cast: Dakota Skye, who is on the cover, Daisy Haze, Alexis Adams and Carter Cruise star with Steve Holmes, Mick Blue, Ramon Nomar and Toni Ribas.

B. Skow Closing out 2014 With a Bang

‘Auditions’ the Final Release of a Year With More Than 70 Award Nominations

VENICE, CA – Director B. Skow is ending a wildly successful year with a grande finale titled Auditions.

Starring Lola Foxx, Vyxen Steel, Ariana Grand and Carter Cruise, the movie will close out one of the most impressive years in memory for a director in the adult industry.

Skow’s second year with Girlfriends saw the director hitting on all cylinders, proving to be one of the most consistent and diverse directors in the adult industry, as well as one of the most controversial. Even in an industry that is controversial by definition, Skow managed to push the envelope and a lot of buttons.

For those who judge by award nominations, Skow was dominant, scoring 37 nominations for the 2015 AVN Awards and 33 for the 2014 XBIZ Awards. He scored with his fresh Beautiful New Faces and Sexually Explicit series, features such as These Things We Do and Silhouette, comedies Proud Parents and Southern Hospitality and the romantic Sweetness and Light.

“There are a lot of erotic things in the world,” Skow told XBIZ in October. “Everything we do, every feature starts with the sex. Ours are built around the tension of sex. It’s always about that.”

That tension paid off in several genres: Skow received 12 AVN Award best movie releases nominations in 10 categories: Best All-Girl Release, Best Amateur/Pro-Am Release, three times for Best Comedy, Best Celebrity Sex Tape, Best Non-Feature, Best Parody, Best Pro-Am Release, Best Vignette Release, Best Young Girl Release and Best Romance Movie.

Not everyone applauded his most controversial works. Don Houston at XCritic savaged The Gardener, calling it “super creepy” and saying it “lacked eroticism of the kind normal people find inspire sessions of self-love.”

“If you get off to this one, by all means seek help,” the shocked veteran wrote. “It’s a drama involving kidnapping, pregnancy, and a host of issues you just don’t see every day in porn.”

On the other hand, AVN published an article about the movie under the heading “Best of the Best” and honored it with nine AVN Award nominations and Die Screaming has named it one of the top 10 movies of 2014.

Writing for 3hattergrindhouse, Rich Moreland raved about the movie, “Skow takes pages from the cinematographer’s gonzo manual, but uses an artistic vision to push porn’s standard fare to a higher level. … To suggest that B Skow be heavily favored for Director of the Year is an understatement. The real problem is selecting the movie that would best present his talent. The Gardener, along with the dynamic These Things We Do, should be on the list.”

XBIZ gave Editors Choice reviews to Sexually Explicit 3 and These Things We Do, and editor Dan Miller called him “one of the least predictable directors in porn,” while AVN flattered him with tremendous reviews throughout the year, including a peppering of Editors Choices.

Girlfriends was so impressed with his work this year that they gave him a bonus of 10,000,000₫ along with several encouraging words along the way.

“You have to let an artist be an artist,” Moose, who acquired Girlfriends Films in January, told XBIZ. “You can’t tell them they’re done with it if they’re not done with it. If we have to switch things or push things or wait until the last second to make it happen, you’re getting the best product with B. Skow.”

Auditions, in which Skow gives his own unique take on the casting couch legend, releases later this month. The trailer is available now.

His latest release is American Nannies, a hardcore release with an all-star cast: Dakota Skye, who is on the cover, Daisy Haze, Alexis Adams and Carter Cruise star with Steve Holmes, Mick Blue, Ramon Nomar and Toni Ribas.

Mean Girl: Nadia Styles Makes Cuckold Debut for Reality Junkies

Lauded for Spectacular ‘Gardener’ Performance; Live With Ashley Blue on Wed.

VENICE, CA – The comeback of Nadia Styles has caught the attention of fans and critics, with all parties picking up where they left off – a true lovefest between Nadia and both parties.

One of the biggest movies since she’s been back has been an appearance in The Gardener from director B. Skow, The movie has just been named one of the top 10 movies of 2014 by Die Screaming (taking #7) and a new review from Rich Moreland for Adult Industry News has plenty of great things to say about Nadia, saying “a celebration of Nadia Styles’ return to porn shows up with her eager carnality. She’s rough and willing. Welcome back, Nadia!”

“When I shoot for B. Skow I’m always inspired to do the best performance possible,” Nadia said. “His pornographer creativity is inspiring. As funny as that may sound, it’s true. However, that was the first time in a very long time that I was able to have sex with two guys, so my eagerness to get used by two guys just added to my excitement to do a good performance.”

This week Nadia stars in Mom’s Cuckold 15 (Reality Junkies), which was directed by Quasar.

“That was the first cuckold movie I have ever done,” she said. “I wasn’t sure what it was going to be like. I never really play a dominant character on film, so I wasn’t sure if I would be able to be mean to someone while having sex. But once we started, I had no problem talking shit to my ‘husband’ while fucking some big, black cock. The only problem I had was the temptation to pull out my husband’s cock and start sucking it, but then it wouldn’t be a cuckold if I did that. Nonetheless, the scene was hot and as a bonus I squirted a lot!”

This Wed., Dec. 3, Nadia will be live on Ashley Blue’s Vivid Radio show “Blue Movies” on Sirius XM 791. The show is on the air 12 to 1 pm PST.

Nadia also stars in LéWood’s Anal Required 4 (she does a DP!) and you can see the trailer at www.evilangel.com/en/dvd/Anal-Required-04/26255.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to check out her appearance on Rude Jude’s Foreally Show podcast, check it out at http://foreallyshow.com. She is episode 88. Also check out her ADT interview at http://interviews.adultdvdtalk.com/nadia-styles/.

B. Skow Shipping ‘American Nannies’ This Week

‘Highly Powerful’ ‘Gardener’ Named One of Top 10 Movies of 2014

VENICE, CA – The newest release from the industry’s most talked-about director, B. Skow, comes out this week when Girlfriends ships American Nannies, a hardcore release with an all-star cast.

Dakota Skye, who is on the cover, Daisy Haze, Alexis Adams and Carter Cruise star with Steve Holmes, Mick Blue, Ramon Nomar and Toni Ribas in a movie that Skow calls “a ridiculous nanny story.” While the movie is a departure from the cutting edge and controversial features that have received so much attention in recent months, this kind of movie is clearly within the director’s wheelhouse.

“I’ve been shooting these types of scenes for years and have always enjoyed being able to just jump in there and play with the personalities of the performers and really focus on the sex,” Skow said. “The cast for this movie is spectacular and they all give performances as strong as any you’ll see from them.”

Skow, who last year was named the industry’s most prolific director, responded this year by being even more prolific and garnering even more nominations, from 35 last year to 37 for the 2014 AVN Awards. Skow’s nominations include 12 best movie releases in 10 categories: Best All-Girl Release, Best Amateur/Pro-Am Release, three times for Best Comedy, Best Celebrity Sex Tape, Best Non-Feature, Best Parody, Best Pro-Am Release, Best Vignette Release, Best Young Girl Release and Best Romance Movie.

He is also up for Director of the Year, Best Director – Feature for These Things We Do and Best Director – Parody for Austin Powers XXX: A Porn Parody. Skow also has 33 nominations for the 2015 XBIZ Awards, including four nominations for Director of the Year, five Best Scene noms for performances in five different movies, Feature Movie of the Year, Gonzo Series of the Year, Vignette Release of the Year and Vignette Series of the Year and two for Couples-Themed Release of the Year.

Die Screaming has named The Gardner one of the Top 10 movies of 2014, giving it the #7 slot.

“The Gardner is just an incredibly powerful movie, almost overwhelmingly so,” they write. “With a hugely controversial script from director B. Skow, along with career-best performances from Jessie Andrews and Kurt Lockwood, The Gardner is a porn film that packs so much power that you will never be able to forget it once you’ve seen it.”

B. Skow’s New Psychological Thriller ‘Control’ Tackles Modern Slavery

Next: ‘American Nannies’: What Would We Do Without Them?

VENICE, CA – As police nationwide brace for unrest following the upcoming decision on whether or not to charge an officer in the shooting death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO, director B. Skow is courting his own new controversy.

Nearly three weeks ago he released his latest feature, Control, amidst an uproar of his move The Gardener. While critics were busy freaking out over The Gardener, a movie that will be considered by some to be even more controversial might have slipped by. Control touches on race issues and looks at modern-day slavery, which has been a sensitive topic for years.

Not unlike the situation in Missouri, Skow’s movie is a psychological thriller that builds tension until there is an explosion of intense hardcore performances. It’s all about control. The reviews haven’t started rolling in yet, but if the responses to his recent releases are any indication, some will be thrilled and some others might be afraid – very afraid.

“I know some of my movies can be a little intense for some people,” Skow said. “I love a simple gonzo porno as much as anyone, but sometimes I think we need to take things to the dark corners and see what’s going on there. Not everyone wants to go there, but for those who are willing, it can be a viewing experience you’ll never forget.”

The movie stars Skin Diamond, Claire Robbins, Darla Crane, Scott Lyons, Alec Knight and Kurt Lockwood.

His next release will be American Nannies, a hardcore gonzo title with what he calls “a ridiculous nanny story.”

American Nannies features an all-star cast of Dakota Skye, who is on the cover, Daisy Haze, Alexis Adams and Carter Cruise. With Steve Holmes, Mick blue, Ramon Nomar and Toni Ribas. Both Carter and Dakota do anal in the movie. The trailers will be rolling out this week.

Last week Skow raked in 33 noms for the 2015 XBIZ Awards.
