Next in Production: ‘Remy Loves Girls’ and New Volume of ‘Fluid’

VENICE, CA – Men’s Health has just posted a story, “Make HER Your Porn Star,” and their primary source for this important knowledge was Dana Vespoli.

As put forth by writer Sarah Jacobsson Purewal, it is a reasonable, 7-point system:
1. Start talking.
2. Put her in the mood.
3. Make it a fantasy.
4. Set the lights, camera, angles.
5. Plan your positions.
6. Calm her nerves.
7. Don’t kiss and tell.

“The camera isn’t foreplay. You still have to seduce her,” Dana says, discussing how to put her in the mood. “The more you can get her in the mood, the more comfortable she’ll be on camera.”

Dana says no one needs studio lighting or an HD video camera, even calling HD “the worst thing to happen to porn.

“Nobody needs to see that much detail,” she says.

Dana has plenty of directorial insight—the best positions, angles and how to get the best out of your partner.

“Don’t do POV shots or just take pictures of her—make sure you’re also visible, and recognizable, in the shot,” Dana says. “She’ll feel more comfortable knowing that anyone who sees the tape is also going to see you.”

The award-winning director has possibly the biggest movie of her career so far coming out later this month, Hollywood Babylon. She is also gearing up to shoot Remy Loves Girls for Sweetheart and Fluid for Evil Angel.
