VENICE, CA – On Monday Hustler Video announced the release of a new Donald Trump parody billed only as The Donald, which offers a lascivious look at how the Republican Party front-runner might select his Vice Presidential running mate, as imagined by proud pornographer and part time politic pundit Larry Flynt. By days end a slew of mainstream news outlets, including NY Daily News, Politico, The Inquisitr, Mediaite, The Washington Post, The Hill, Metro, and Uproxx, had already picked up the story, causing it to go viral. Eager fans flooded into the official website, http://thedonaldxxx.com, nearly crashing the servers, driven in part by the massive mainstream media frenzy surrounding the titles release. It seemed the media, who have tirelessly covered every aspect of Trumps campaign, could barely contain themselves over news of the spicy send up.
“Here’s one Donald that will make America gyrate again,” quips Ethan Sacks in his piece for the New York Daily News on the release. “Flynt has vowed to send a copy to every Republican member (ahem) of Congress.”
“After turning the American presidential race into a spectacle of controversy and showmanship, Donald Trump has reached the inevitable conclusion of satirical mockery,” writes Ken Meyer in his piece on the Mediaite.
