The unseen footage, which lay forgotten for years in the anonymous director’s private erotica library, was recently acquired by HUSTLER Founder and Chairman Larry Flynt.

The two movies, Balls in Action and The Doctor Is In, represent the first feature work performed by future superstar John Holmes, who had only shot loops prior to making them. The films’ director, a young man at the time in the early 70’s, buried them after receiving a lucrative mainstream job for fear they might hurt his skyrocketing new career. The rare footage includes a three scene romp following a small basketball team’s antics in the locker room and showers as well as a sex therapist’s secret session with his salacious patients that climaxes in a chocolate sauce orgy!
