Recognized for Performing and Acting; 5 Best Scene Nods
VENICE, CA – Abigail Mac’s career in the adult industry exploded in 2015 and that’s reflected in her nominations for the 2016 AVN Awards.
Announced last Thursday, Abigail scored 8 nominations including 5 for Best Scene. Two nominations are for SeXXXploitation of Abigail Mac (Desire/Girlfriend), which also garnered Best Director and Best Editing nominations for Ivan.
She won a coveted Best Solo/Tease Performance nom for Black & White 4 (Blacked/Jules Jordan). Her scene with Flash Brown in the movie is up for Best Boy/Girl Sex Scene.
Acting is one of the things Abigail focused on during this breakthrough year and she is thrilled to have a nod for Best Supporting Actress for her work in Flesh (Digital Playground/Pulse).
She also scored a Most Outrageous Sex Scene nom for “Blacklight Dykes” in SeXXXploitation of Abigail Mac. The Most Outrageous trophy comes with a special sense of pride in an industry with a history of being outrageous and is always one of the most competitive categories.
“I am so pleased with the AVN nominations,” Abigail said. “I worked with so many amazing people during this year where I took on a lot of new things and I’m thrilled to see so many of them being recognized as well. Ivan and Flash and the beautiful women and all the great directors and companies – so many people helped me as I jumped into all these new things and I’m so glad the critics and fans have responded so positively.”
In 2015 Abigail began doing boy/girl sex scenes for the first time and neither fans nor critics (nor Abigail) were disappointed with the amazing results.
