Covergirl Bonnie Rotten Stars in ‘Whores INK’

Jonni Darkko Taps Her for Cover; Still #1 on AVN Charts

‘Lesbian Surrender’ Coming July 8; ‘Lesbians Unchained’ Out This Week

VENICE, CA – “Who are you to tell me about my sexuality?” asks Sovereign Syre in a new Playboy.com interview. She may be relatively new in the adult industry, but that doesn’t mean she can be pushed around or is anyone’s to be molded into their preconceived notion of who others think she is or who should be. Sovereign is Sovereign, love it or leave it. After reading the Playboy interview, or seeing any of her amazing scenes, you’ll love it.

She’s doing girl/girl on camera and in real life, but she’s not going to be categorized just so she can fit into some category. She’s a woman of ideas and action. It didn’t take much time in front of the camera for Sovereign to know she wanted to be on the other side, too, and she is now working on directing.

““Once I was in it, I began to see things I wanted to see or do differently. Now when I try to think about doing boy/girl it’s hard for me to think of stories I think are hot. But when you say you want me doing girl/girl, I can think of a ton of stories that I think are really arousing. I think that because female pleasure is front and center of lesbian erotica, you can’t get away from it,” she told Playboy. “A lot of porn is geared towards men and involves the male gaze, but [just because] that part is the part of our desire that grows and evolves to become the most sophisticated doesn’t mean that the other ones aren’t there. I feel that I can’t speak about women and pretend men don’t exist. A lot of times men are a major source of strife and redemption in a woman’s life. I wanted to create scenarios that reflect real life. There are no men in the movie, but they’re always part of the backdrop that creates the dramas in which these fantasies play out.”

Fans can get ready for her directing work by watching her performances. This week Lesbians Unchained from Girlfriends Films comes out, which stars Sovereign with Dana DeArmond among the a series of vignettes about criminal women.

“We play reformed convicts sharing a bath and plotting to scam our wealthy husbands out of their fortunes so we can run off together,” she says. “I think she’s one of the best performers working today, and I was really looking forward to working with her.”

Great Reviews Rolling in for Dana Vespoli-Directed Movies

XCritic Recommends ‘She’s Come Undone’, Gram Ponante Loves ‘Descent’

VENICE, CA – Just as the reviews for Dana Vespoli’s new movie She’s Come Undone start rolling in, she’s wrapped shooting on her next offering.

XCritic has given She’s Come Undone the official Recommendation, saying, “She’s Come Undone is a truly adult story that stands out among the lightweight traditional tropes of all-girl smut.”

Her latest release stars Dana, Sinn Sage, India Summer, Sovereign Syre, Presley Hart, Julia Ann and Lea Lexis with an appearance by Manuel Ferrara.

Deemed one of the industry’s “Fresh” directors in the current issue of AVN, Dana just finished shooting Lesbian Anal POV 3. The cast joining Dana is Skin Diamond, Jessie Volt, Bailey Blue and Anikka Albrite.

“Most of the scenes take place in public,” Dana says of Lesbian Anal POV 3. “This particular volume takes place in cars, dressing rooms, at the beach, on a hiking trail, etc. I enjoyed the relaxed aspect of just being out with the girls and leisurely banging them, and the feeling of risk, which is a huge turn-on.”

Dana knows as much about getting turned on as anyone, and beloved porn journalist Gram Ponante just gave Dana’s movie Descent a great review for Fleshbot, calling it “a great porn movie” that is “not easily forgotten.”

Sovereign Syre Stars in First-Ever Evil Angel Girl/Girl Feature

Directorial Debut Coming in July; Pens ‘My First Time’ Article

VENICE, CA – Sexy Sovereign Syre is appearing in some of the biggest movies of the summer and directing one, too.

Sovereign stars in the Dana Vespoli-directed and -produced She’s Come Undone, which is the first-ever girl/girl feature to come out of Evil Angel. Only the director appears in more scenes, while Sovereign – “a smart yet haunted prostitute with her own demons to face” – appears in three of the four.

Dana wrote the movie to showcase herself and Sovereign, who says, “In a way it is one long sex scene between the two of us, broken up by flashback and reflections on past sexual experiences.”

Sovereign also recently appeared in Strapped Dykes 2 from Belladonna/Aiden Riley, which came “highly recommended” by Don Houston on XCritic, who said that she is on top of her game.

What Sovereign’s game is will become completely clear as her directorial debut is released by Filly Films next month. Titled Lesbian Surrender, the movie “explores themes of submission, domination, and coercion in a series of vignettes featuring women overwhelmed by forbidden lesbian urges,” and stars the director with Ela Darling, Nikita Bellucci, Aaliyah Love and Elle Alexandra. Fleshbot got the first word in about the movie with a preview, saying, “We could definitely get used to Sovvy as a director.” The movie streets July 8.

A published writer, she Sovereign just penned the story of her first-ever adult shoot for AIP Daily.

“I was excited and a little intimidated by how much I liked it,” she writes. “I was on a high. I knew that I wanted to keep making porn, which meant that my life was going to take a very different course than I could have ever imagined.”
