VENICE, CA – Capping off the opening day of the 2011 XBiz Retail Expo & Conference, the stars and major players of the adult entertainment industry line up tonight to walk the red carpet at the Hollywood Palladium for the XBIZ Awards Show. Nominated for 18 prominent awards, the Bluebird Films entourage will shine on the red carpet, led by acclaimed director Nicholas Steele, up for “Director of the Year – Individual Project” for Batfxxx: Dark Night and dazzling contract star Madelyn Marie “Female Performer of the Year” nominee, in what is certain to be a night to remember.
“We are incredibly proud to be nominated in some really prestigious categories, recognizing not just the studio as a whole, but also so much of the individual talent who made this such a successful year for Bluebird,” affirms CEO Nicholas Steele.
Madelyn is also honored to be a presenter for two of the evening’s awards: Lingerie Manufacturer of the Year and Toy Manufacturer of the Year, categories representing two of her favorite accessories.
Bluebird will also have a daily presence at the Expo & Conference February 9-11 at the Sofitel Hotel, further reinforced by Steele’s participation on a panel of studio heavyweights discussing “DVDs: Today’s Blockbusters & Profitable Sales Strategies.” This seminar will be held on Thursday, February 10th at 10am, but later that evening, let the fun begin!
Madelyn Marie is hosting a Bluebird Films/XBiz party at the Cutting Room in West Hollywood, with special guests Victoria Lawson, Lily Karter, and Lizz Tayler. The exclusive club, nestled in the stylish Grafton Hotel, is located on the Sunset Strip in the heart of Hollywood’s upscale nightlife scene, previously occupied by BOA.
“Bluebird has a reputation for the kinds of parties they throw and this is sure to be no exception,” offers Rising Star PR’s Devan Cypher. “Don’t be surprised if you show up late and can’t get in.
” The sexiest social event of the season starts at 9:30 pm sharp and continues until partygoers run out of steam. Industry will be admitted by recognition and are suggested to arrive early to avoid being denied entry due to capacity restrictions. All female talent will be admitted along with their guests.
